mDaktar -First claim for Hospital Daily Cash –BDT 10, 000

Nurul Alam, one of the valued customers of Robi’s mHealth related Value Added Service, mDaktar, has received 10 thousand taka hospital cash benefit using the interactive service. The customer received the amount from Robi’s customer care centre at Feni.

The mDaktar service has been relaunched with free life insurance & hospital cash benefit from August, this year. Now customers can get unlimited doctor consultation & health tips SMS along with these two new features.

Customers get eligible for life insurance and hospital cash back facility on the basis of

their previous month’s usage amount. For example, if at least one successful deduction takes place in a month (BDT 2 charged for a day excluding VAT, Supplementary Duty and Surcharge), customers will be eligible for a life insurance coverage amount of 5 thousand taka in the following month.

Depending on the higher usage of the service by the customer, one can get up to 60 thousand taka life insurance coverage and up to 20 thousand taka hospital cash back benefit facility with the per day maximum cash back facility of one thousand taka up to 20 days in a year for being admitted into hospital.

mDaktar is providing basic medical consultation service & insurance facilities among the masses. While it provides primary medical consultation service to the urbanites, the underserved rural community is also benefitting from this vital service.

Customers need to dial *21216*1# to register and after registration customers will be deducted two taka per day excluding the VAT, Supplementary Duty and Surcharge, per day for the service. When a registered customer needs doctor consultation s/he needs to call 21216 to book an appointment then the doctor will call back the customer and provide necessary health advice. This service is available 24/7 every day except government holidays.
